We had a beautiful assembly today to say our final farewells to Mr. McLean. A big thank you to all the students who shared their thoughts and to the community for their support.
Next week, teachers will be inviting parents to interviews that will be held on March 4th (evening) and the 5th. The second term interviews are generally requested if there is a concern. Parents may also request an interview. Report cards will be sent home on March 1st.
Thank you for all the information regarding our graffiti. Suspects have been investigated by the police. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any other information. We will continue to take any vandalism to our school seriously.
Thank you to Student Council for organizing our Olympics on the 19th. Each student in grades 1-7 has been assigned to a team. We encourage the students to wear his/her team colours (these have been included in the grade parent letter). All students will participate in the Opening Ceremonies @ 9:00(ish) followed by the grade 1-3 students enjoying some fun games in the morning and the grade 4-7 students in the afternoon. The grade 8 students have shown great leadership skills in helping organize this fun event.
