Safety

Today, a man used our boy's washroom without announcing himself to the office; he came in through the southeast doors as kids were coming in and out of the doors. He was a construction worker working on a house around the corner. Mr. Lanis and myself went to the house to confirm his story and to reiterate the consequences of his actions. We initially found out about the incident as two of our grade 5 boys saw him and told the office. The boys are to be commended for knowing what to do and we are so proud of them. We've discussed this as a staff and reviewed our safety procedures. We would also like to remind all visitors to report to the office, sign in and wear our visitors badge.
