Congratulations to our Junior Girls' BB team as they placed 2nd in the City Finals. The first City Basketball Banner for the gym!
Today, we celebrated our "Kindness and Caring" recipients at our Sharing Assemblies. A group from our dance club also performed and it was fabulous! We were also honoured to listen to Jim Chochrane, a former student of LKS, speak about Down Syndrome. It was an honour having Jim speak to all of the students. Please have a follow-up discussion at home about his talk; the kids were fabulous listeners.
I really hope everyone has a great holiday celebrating with family and friends. I am so proud to be at Lambton-Kingsway and I appreciate the support you have given the staff over the term. Your children are so special and we are proud of their accomplishments. They make coming to LKS a treat every day! Cheers.

I would like to thank the community for your generous gifts and warm wishes to Stonegate. Today, the Student Council reps collected all the baskets, and helped Mrs. Saha and her many parent volunteers load and unload the vans. This is such a great project as it continues to instill the values of Kindness and Caring. The students really love this project!
I'd also like to thank Ms. Walker and her class for organizing our food drive for Second Harvest. Another great success!
Another thanks for attending our concerts this year. The student performances were held on Tuesday, Wednesay and Thursday and they certainly got us in the spirit of the holidays. Let us never forget the importance of music, dance and the Arts in general. The students continue to aquire knowledge and skill in these areas at LKS! Thank you to the community and Parent Council as many of our instruments are purchased through your funds. Thanks to Ms. Hoffman, Mrs. McGee, Mr. Samotowka and Mr. Goldberg for organizing the concerts and preparing the students for the performances. Thank you also to Mr. Ourique as he was the staff advisor to our dance group. Finally, thank you to Mrs. Greifenberger for helping with the decorations.

Well, the first snowfall hit us this week; I think I was more excited than the kids!
Congratulations to the junior and senior boys volleyball teams as they have advanced to the next round of play next week. The games were exciting to watch and the skill level of the boys is amazing. Good luck to our Senior Girls BB team as they are playing in their tournament today.
