Dr. Grant

We wanted to inform you that Dr. Grant will be coming back for Monday, October 1, 2007. Dr. Grant did take a leave of absence due to medical conditions.

We thank Ms. Tisnower for the effort that she put forth into the program to ensure a good start to the school year for the children. She has taught 5C in the afternoon and primary/junior music in the morning. We hope to see you supply teaching with us in the future.

Terry Fox

We have finished completing our realignment process and I do want to thank our staffing committee for your work. In the end, we only had to move 4 students from Mr. Ourique's class to Mrs. Olson's class. Thank you to everyone for your patience.

Terry Fox is on Thursday, September 27th. The run is in the afternoon for the school. The morning Kindergartens usually do a quick run/walk when they are here in the morning.

Ralignment

We are still waiting to see if we have to move any students. We suspect that we will be moving students from 3C, so we have sent home communication for 3C parents. We will continue to keep you abreast of the details.

Dates for next week: Grade 6-8 Student Council Assembly-24th; Photo Day-25th and 26th; Terry Fox Day-27th; PA Day-28th

Curriculum night is Thursday, September 20, 2007.

Staff Introductions-6:45 p.m.
Grade One, Two and Three-7:00 p.m.
Junior/Intermediate-7:30 p.m.

Mid-September Newsletter

A newsletter will be sent home tomorrow with the students. The mid-month letter includes information on the renovations, realignment, Terry Fox, the PA Day, Physical Education and School Teams and EQAO.

We hope this blog will be useful in providing information to you. Formal newsletters will be posted on our school's website on the 1st of every month.
