I want to share some staff changes that happened over the summer. We would like to extend a big congratulations to Mr. Samotowka as he will be moving to John G. Althouse as the instrumental band teacher. We are going to miss him as he not only taught our middle school for the last 10 years, but was instrumental in co-ordinating and collaborating with teachers on concerts, plays, graduations and assemblies to name a few. You could always count on him to be working behind the scenes to make sure every event was a success.
We also congratulate Mr. Policicchio as he has accepted a Vice-Principal position. Mr. Policicchio has been on a leave for a few years, but he has always been in the background assisting with our technology needs.
Ms. Sunde has been moved to the grade 2 position and is looking forward to setting up her new classroom, and Ms. Perrin will be teaching the kindergarten class full-time. Congratulations!
