Hallowe'en Week!

We are looking forward to our Hallowe'en Parade on Friday. We will be following the fence line if you wish to come and watch. Parent Council will be hosting some refreshments for your enjoyment.

This week we've cleaned up the lost and found. Thank you to Mrs. Lindsell who is helping us do this very dirty job! Please check the lost and found if your child is missing any items. We are displaying them the last week of the month with the hopes that most of the items will be claimed. If not, we will send the clothing to a needy area/charity.

Shortly, we will be sending home the annual Unicef envelopes. If your child wants to participate, please return the envelope the following week. Thank you for your support. A Unicef Rep will be picking up all donations at a later date.

The office sent home the annual Verification Reports. Please complete and send them back as soon as possible. This would help the office staff tremendously.

Finally, we welcome Mr. Piwowarcyzk, our new afternoon caretaker. Also, we have been assigned additional caretaker help this year and the person should be assigned shortly.

The kids are really going to enjoy next week:
27th-Football Finals
28th-Grade 3 & 4 Storytelling-Author Bob Baron visits-Thanks Parent Council!; Eco Reps (Staff and Parents) attend EcoSchools Celebration
29th-Grade 6-8 Dance
30th-Grade 5 go to Queen's Park
31st-Hallowe'en Parade; Haunted House; Unicef Envelopes go home!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is a PA Day. Our staff will be participating in Smart Board and Advanced Guided Reading Strategies workshops.
