November

What a beautiful Fall day! Hopefully it is like this for tomorrow's Hallowe'en Parade. We will start around 9:00 a.m. if you would like to watch. Parent Council will be out in full force with warm beverages.

We'd like to welcome Mrs. Bartlett who is replacing Mrs. Magyari, our afternoon secretary for awhile. Mrs. Magyari will be leaving us on Monday for her new full-time office position. We thank her for all her assistance and commitment to the LKS community for the last six years.

I'd like to direct you to our new special education blog. Over the next few months, we will post information that will should be helpful to parents directly involved with spec ed, and also to the community at large. I'd really like to thank Mr. Ross for managing the posts.

Mrs. Hill would like to remind all parents to submit their information to their grade parent if you would like to be included in the school directory. Mrs. Hill began the directory with great success last year, and it continues to grow. Thank you for this valuable resource.

Mrs. Burdon would like to remind everyone that there will be a soccer uniform, winter clothing and book drive between Nov. 10th-14th. If you have items to donate, please bring those items into the school during that week. Details will be coming home via grade parents.
