Congratulations to all of our grade 6-8 students who wrote the math contest this week. We should get the results shortly. I'd like to thank Mrs. Heath for organizing the contest this year.
During our Athletic Assembly on Wednesday, the Heart and Stroke Foundation presented their Jump Rope for Heart campaign which will take place on March 5th. Your child received an information and pledge package. Last week the students also participated in class presentations about heart disease and keeping healthy. Thank you to Mrs. Laco, Ms. Kim and Mr. Bracht for organizing this event.
I really want to thank Mrs. Raymond, Mr. Blais, Mrs. Tyndall and Mrs. Macpherson for working together with me to present our parent information night this week on "Early Years Reading Strategies". We showed a variety of strategies that can be used when reading with children.
